1. I'm guessing you have to write a paper.. so here it goes.. *What new features will cell phones have over the next two years? *Will online video create more of a demand for high speed video? What does it mean for the future of TV? *Will we ever have a free market choice for our local phones instead of only one carrier (not including digital services like Vonage) Good luck!
2. What are the chances in the next few years of actually seeing marketers get a cellphone directory? Someday will we have to worry about cellphones (and their headsets) causing health problems? What is the possibility of Orwell's "1984" becoming a reality? (yeah, you'd have to google Orwell and 1984 to figure that one out, but it's an interesting premise). Will the government someday soon be able to randomly choose your computer for a "pedophile or porn scan" to see if you could be a potential sexual predator (without proper search warrants listing why they should be able to search), and if so, can they pre-label some people by what they find on the computer? I don't mean just pictures of kiddie porn - I mean John Doe's searches of what the govt might consider to be a precursor to John Doe acting on his potential urges.
