What are some of the newest communication technology? Many responders..?

I am doing a project on a new communication technology. We students can not pick the same topic. Some topics that is already taken is PDA, GPs, Mp3, hand-held computers, bluetooth, digital camera, iphone, ipod, etc. Could give a list of some of the newest communication technology. Many responders...Help!!

1. Internet Camera! take a picture and it uploads automatically to sites like Flickr! multi player games on Internet and handhelds! Google maps and trip planning. Youtube, instant entertainment for the masses! evolving standards in Email delivery (push imap...) those are just the ones that came to mind.... and I use them all!
