what are some of the nonverbal and verbal communication that takes place in the movie the last samuri?

I have to write about a movie that depicts communication both verbally, nonverbally, and also the communication rules of another culture, between north americans and someone of another culture. I thought of The Last Samuri, but its been a long time since I've seen the movie and I don't have time to watch it. Any Help?
