What type of fibre optics cables can be USED between router and a switch? eg.,?

1. Fibre optics is not enabled between any sort of router and switch. The best you can hope for is to connect them up with Category 6 cable. You will need a gigabit switch to get the fastest speeds tho.
2. This depends on the router, and the switch. There aren't any cheap routers with fibre connections, or switches for that matter. So really, we need more details - what router, what switch?
