Can you put decorations on a fibre optic tree?

I have this fibre optic tree, it's nice but just wondering if trimmings and decorations can go onto it as well?

1. yes.. Fibre optic are just strands of tubing that light flows down and eminates from the free end. They are not like bulbs and will not get hot. Decorating it would cause no problems. As long as you don't overdo it and cant see the illumination anymore then go ahead.... Merry X-mas Jems xxXXxx
2. I did it...it's tough to keep the stuff on those as the needles aren't as strong as the wires on regular artificial trees. Use light weighted decorations, and get some small hooks.....bend the hook around the needles of the tree tightly to ensure the decor doesn't fall off. I also used tie on ribbons which worked well. Remember....keep the deocorations light...anything heavy will fall right off, right away.

5. The whole point of the fibre optics that it can stand alone and look good. Putting other decorations on it will cause the optic fibres to droop and you will lose the nice effect. Leave it alone.

7. Yes, of course. Fibre optics generate no heat so put what you like on the tree. The only thing to watch out for are the ventilation holes in the top of the "tub" which houses a very powerful bulb. Do not block these by standing stuff on them.
