Help analyzing the Martin Luther King Jr. I Have a Dream speech? I've been a college freshman for about a week now, so this needs to be a little more advanced. My teacher loved my first writing assignment and said she looks forward to reading the rest of my work, so now I feel greatly pressured to write something impressive. I personally hate writing, and have little to no experience in rhetorical analysis papers. I'm not sure where to start. How should I organize it (as in what should I put in the body paragraphs)? Any tips would be so greatly appreciated! I prefer from those who are in college or have had college education. Thanks :0)
Which Martin Luther King Jr. speech contains the words....? I was listening to an old CD by the band "Extreme" called "Three Sides To Every Story." On this CD is a track about the phenomena of peacemakers dying. The song is called, relevantly enough, "Peacemaker Die." This track has a recording of a speech by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. which goes as follows; "I have a dream this afternoon, that the brotherhood of man will become a reality. In this age, with this faith, I will go out and carve a tunnel of hope through the mountain of despair. With this faith, I will go out with you and carve dark yesterdays into bright tomorrows........" What speech is this from? Could this be an amalgamation of several speeches? If so, which ones? Thank you for all of your help.
Were African Americans being true to Martin Luther King Jr's I have a dream speech In voting for Obama? One of the highlights of Martin Luther King Jr's I have a dream speech was when he spoke these words, And I quote " I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character " Now I ask you to please be honest. Based on Mr. King's words, Have African Americans who many of them openly admitted to voting for Obama because of his color, applied this to their lives ? Did they vote for this man based on the content of his character? Or the color of his skin ? I believe the evidence is overwhelming that it's the latter . And if you say it's not, I would ask you, Then why did so many African Americans vote so overwhelmingly for this particular liberal Democratic president as opposed to those of the past ? Thanks in advance for your answers. God bless.

Martin Luther King Jr.Speech?? did Martin Luther King Jr give any speech in March 1963 and what was the speech called??? Am not talking about the "I have a dream speech"
Please Review my martin luther king jr speech? This is for the modern woodsman 2009 (: He had a dream that one day, blacks will live in a world where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their charecter. Martin luther king jr was born with the name michael, but soon had it changed to martin. he was born in atlanta, georgia in 1929, a time where blacks and whites were seperated because they were of a different race. he thought that how poorly treated he and other blacks were treated, was not at all fair. martin luther king jr is a hero to me because unlike the others who thought racism was horrible, he actually got up, and said what he needed to say. few days after he spoke his mind, he was shot standing on the balcony of his hotel. Martin faced many obstacles of racism against him and other blacks. His white friends were forced to stop playing with him when they reached grade school. He was arrested many times, and his own house was bombed when he stopped the seating spots between blacks and whites. although he had been faced with many obatacles and choice, he passed through them, and helped change some of the many racist acts that blacks faced. martin had many goals to fix the horrid rights that blacks were given.he ahd selfless idea's to change these acts of racism. his mother told him, as a child, that one day this world will change, and blacks will have the same rights as whites. He said, he, martin luther king jr, will turn this world upside down. he said to himself he will help change the racist acts, and help give blacks better housing, jobs, and schooling. Martin, leader of a civils rights movement, had his dreams come true. After the victory of martin, the fifteenth amendmant gave black men the right to vote. Blacks and whites unit, both blacks and whites walk the streets together equally. in conclusion martin was able to fulfill his life long dreams. he helped gain many rights for blacks, same schools, resteraunts, and bus seatins. without martin luther king jr the laws for blacks would still be the same. he organized and led marhces, without using violence. His marches and speeches were effective, and for the most part, were all done successfully, and peacefully. his actions and words created an everlasting, never to be forgotten memory, in not only blacks, but all of us. I want you to think how would life for us all, be different of martin luther king jr. hadnt spoke up from his heart, spoke what everyone wished they couldve said. he showed not only me, but all of us, there is more to people than meets the eye. Ihope he has showed you, as he showed me, that bravey and courage, can win the fight. Speak up and you will be heard. Martin luther king Jr. A great hero for all to look up to :)

Marthin Luther King Jr. Speech? did Martin Luther King Jr give any speech in March 1963 and what was the speech called??? Am not talking about the "I have a dream speech"
The dream of Martin Luther King Jr.? Some people say that the dream of Martin Luther King is one of the most inspiring speeches ever made in history. Personally I agree. Years after his death the dream has come true. Children of all the black slave, the ones that use to work hard day after day from the crack of dawn till the last bit of sunshine dissapears behind the mountains. To anyone who listens to that speech it brings hope. Hope that we can make a change in the world with the tinniest of our actions. One speech, one speech. From one man. He did not have all the money in the world, all he had was hope, and that hope, that speech inspired thousands . . .maybe even millions. . .to make a change. That change makes us what we are today. But the question in this is : what happens to the generation now? Kids now do not seem to care about their self respect. Something that our greatest leaders such as Martin Luther King Jr. risked their life for. what happens now? I'm a 9th grade student and I would get laughed at at my school if I ever mentioned even listening to this speech. What is that all about? This speech is one of the things that gave me the ability to come to the United States as a free person. Not as as the property of a white person.
